Founding Statement

In Dey 1404 (December 2025–January 2026), the Islamic Republic regime, by completely blocking all peaceful avenues for the transfer of power and resorting to the bloody repression of unarmed protesters, inaugurated a new chapter of organized violence. Through the widespread killing of citizens, it eliminated the final possibilities for civil engagement between the nation and the ruling authority. What occurred was not merely a political crisis, but a human and historical tragedy whose consequences weigh heavily upon the lives, psyche, and future of the Iranian people.

We, a group of Iranians inside and outside the country, committed to our social and historical responsibility to preserve national cohesion in the face of this catastrophe and the accumulated devastation of nearly half a century of Islamic Republic rule, deem it our duty to establish an independent, people-based, and non-profit institution under the title "Iran Reconstruction Organization."

The Iran Reconstruction Organization is a rapid-response body formed in times of crisis, with the objective of delivering vital and immediate services to the people of Iran during a "governance vacuum or prior to the stabilization of a provisional government."

This organization considers itself bound, in the event of any crisis arising from the collapse of the current unhealthy and corrupt ruling structure in Iran—whether as a result of nationwide protests, political developments, or foreign interventions—to provide "relief, humanitarian, and social support services" in a coordinated and coherent manner.

The activities of this Organization shall be limited to the transitional period and the timeframe preceding the full establishment of a transitional state structure. All actions will be carried out in cooperation with established authorities and international institutions, in accordance with humanitarian principles.

Fundamental Principles:

  1. Absolute Human-Centeredness: The life and dignity of every human being constitute our red line.

  2. Impartial Service Delivery: Assistance shall be provided without discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, political affiliation, gender, or social status.

  3. Rejection of Retaliation: Relief efforts shall never be used as a tool for settling scores.

  4. Non-Political and Non-Profit Nature: This Organization shall not serve as an instrument for gaining power, claiming political shares, or engaging in future political bargaining in Iran.

  5. Transparency and Public Accountability: Financial resources and executive actions shall be managed on the basis of full transparency and public reporting.

We explicitly declare that this Organization shall have no claim to participation in the structure of power or to any sovereign interests in the future of Iran, and that its role is defined solely within the sphere of social service and humanitarian relief.

While maintaining structural independence, we affirm our commitment to a national transition grounded in the principles of preserving territorial integrity, the separation of religion and state, equality of citizens and individual rights, and the free choice of self-determination. We further declare that Prince Reza Pahlavi, as the shared option of a broad segment of Iranians during the Dey 1404 uprising for a transition away from the Islamic Republic, has our support within the framework of these national principles.

All activities of the Iran Reconstruction Organization shall be based on public contributions, the voluntary services of Iranians inside and outside the country, and the engagement of professional international experts in the fields of relief, health, logistics, crisis management, and communications. The Organization shall be formed with an agile, decentralized, and network-based structure, and considers itself committed to prior preparedness, systematic planning, and rapid action at the "zero hour of crisis."

This statement constitutes a clear and firm covenant with the people of Iran: At the moment of collapse, in the early days of instability, and in the interval between the passage from the ruins of the past to the reconstruction of the country's future, you will not stand alone. Inside and outside the country, we shall stand beside you so that, together and through national solidarity and collective cooperation, we may rebuild a new Iran.
